While other brands use silicone or water-based formulations, our leather care ingredients have been used for centuries in different ways, from tanning to conditioning leather, for optimal care and preservation.

We source the highest quality full-grain leather available, known for its softness and resilience, to ensure our products withstand the rigors of daily use. With the natural grain remaining intact, full-grain leather retains its strength and rich character.

Lower-grade leathers, often labeled as“genuine leather,” are typically made from split layers of the hide that are heavily processed and coated to create a uniform surface. While they may look similar at first, these materials tend to crack and peel over time.

Luxurious Texture & Rich Patina

Rather than wearing out, our full-grain leather wears in. Over time, our leather develops a rich patina that reflects years of wear. This aging process enhances the leather’s beauty and provides unique characteristics and variations that make each piece one-of-a-kind. 

Glazed in appearance, the darkening hues and signs of wear that our leather acquires with age make up what is known as a patina. This natural finish softens the material while imparting personality to an accessory meant to be worn for a lifetime.

A Material With Natural Origins

We source our leather from Argentina, a country long recognized for producing some of the finest hides in the world. Cattle are raised across the vast grasslands, where grazing conditions contribute to healthy hides with exceptional character.

Leather itself is a by-product of the meat industry, meaning the hides would otherwise go unused if not repurposed. Rather than allowing these hides to go to waste, they are processed into durable materials that can be used responsibly and appreciated for decades. 

Mindful Style & Minimal Waste

After our leather is expertly sourced from Buenos Aires, we send it to New York City, where it is carefully prepared for production. During this process, it is enhanced to help create the most yield from a single piece of material while avoiding waste.

By thoughtfully planning how each pattern is placed, we are able to make the most of every hide. Smaller sections are often used for wallets and accessories, ensuring that the material is utilized as fully as possible.

Wife hasn't destroyed it in twelve years.

"I bought one of these for my wife Twelve years ago may have been fifteen She is still using it to this day. The straps haven't wore out the leather's worn, but no holes. All the seams are intact. The only thing that's happened is the leather on these zippers that you pull to unzip it broke the other day. thought we'd never find one we've looked for replacements. Finally, I just looked on the web. And I'm ordering the second one today. In this storm blue color the one she has is in blue, but it was cashmere. Leather instead of regular cowhide. very soft and pliable still to this day. And she doesn 't take care of stuff very well. only thing after almost thirty years of marriage i've ever seen hold up under my wife's use. Men pay the extra money you won't regret it. The organizer is set up so well she rarely misplaces anything, except when she switches handbags, when we go out nice."

Quality has changed a bit, in my view not for better

"This is my 3rd purchase of same backpack (I use as purse and carry every day) in 15 years or so. The leather has changed, now a bit sturdier but not as soft and supple as previous. The size has changed very slightly, the outside pocket now does not accommodate regular size ballpoint in pen holder pockets, too short. There is a seam on pocket side in middle not present in earlier bags. It is still the pack I want to carry every day but it really just isn’t quite as nice as the older ones. Picture shows true color, older bags much nicer color, this is quite red. Having said all that, I’ll continue to purchase, black next time though."

"This one is smaller than my previous Osgoode Marley backpack purse and is the perfect size for me. I only wish it had a built in clip to attach my keys to rather than having to fish around in the bottom of the compartments. The gray is a very nice color."

Is it possible to request that a stronger zipper modification be instituted with the smaller sized back pack?
Thank you for the inquiry. We use the YKK zippers. They have an outstanding track record of being one of the best manufactures year over year. We'd be happy to discuss your idea further but are unsure of what exactly you are referencing with the word "stronger".
Is the STORM color grey?
Yes, the Storm is a grey with a bluish hue.
